Loan Chabanol was born in Paris, France. Her father is French and Vietnamese, and her mother is of Italian and German descent. She was discovered at the age of 16 by the prestigious Elite Model Look modeling contest. While modeling, she developed the desire to act and signed up at the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC. She made her film debut in the comedy “Fading Gigolo” playing opposite John Turturro and Woody Allen. Soon after she was cast as “Sam” in the romantic drama “Third Person”. Loan got her first lead as an action female in the franchise “The Transporter Refueled ” produced by Luc Besson. Since a very young age, she developed the passion for drawing and painting. She has done two art shows in NYC and three in Los Angeles. Along with the art, she illustrated and directed a short animation film and is now focused on developing children’s stories. She spends her time between LA, NYC and Paris.
