At the age of 18, Amy Allen moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco. After graduating, she went to work for ILM. As a Production Assistant, she worked on several films, including Gangs of New York (2002), before going to work on Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002).
