Born in London, England, Howard is the son of English and Jamaican Parents. He trained as an actor at the prestigious Drama Centre, having been awarded a much coveted scholarship. Upon graduating, he embarked on an illustrious classical stage career, playing at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), The Royal Court and in London’s West End.
Howard made his television debut in 2008 in retro sitcom ‘Beautiful People’. He continued cutting his teeth in television with supporting roles but from 2014 on-wards became established as Porthos, one of ‘The Musketeers’ in the acclaimed BBC series based on the characters created by Alexandre Dumas.
In December 2015 he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. Fortunately, he made a full recovery and continued his career in late 2016.
Howard is also a writer and director.
