Jeremy Michael Jordan was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is most well-known for his television roles in Supergirl (2015) and Smash (2012).
Jeremy graduated in 2007 with a degree in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College. Soon after, he landed his first Broadway role in “Rock of Ages.” In December of 2009, he left the show to play Tony in Broadway’s “West Side Story.” In 2011, Jeremy originated the role Clyde Barrow opposite Laura Osnes in the new musical, “Bonnie & Clyde,” a performance which earned him the Theatre World Award. Later that season, Jeremy went on to star in the world premiere production of Disney’s “Newsies” on Broadway. He received Tony and Grammy Award nominations for his role as Jack Kelly.
Four months into the run, Jordan landed the role of Jimmy Collins in season 2 of “Smash.” For a few months, he would film the series by day, while continuing to star in “Newsies” in the evenings. Jeremy soon left “Newsies” to film “Smash” full-time.
On the big screen, Jordan starred opposite Anna Kendrick in the film adaptation of The Last Five Years (2014), the hit musical from Jason Robert Brown, directed by Richard LaGravenese. His first movie was Joyful Noise (2012) directed by Todd Graff and starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah. On television, Jeremy has guest starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and Elementary (2012).
In 2015, Jeremy began filming “Supergirl” on CBS in which he plays the role of Winslow “Winn” Schott, best friend of Supergirl and son of infamous DC Comics villain, Toyman.
