Taveeta Szymanowicz is a rising actress and artist from Toronto.
Alumna to Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, Taveeta was highly exposed to the Dramatic/Vocal Arts where in which she discovered her passion for Film/Tv and performing. After graduating with Honours in Outstanding Artistic Achievement, Taveeta began to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional performing artist.
Taveeta landed her first major series regular roles as Thalia on Canadian TV series The Next Step and Valerie Graves on Nickelodeons Make It Pop. Taveeta’s credits include: Sify’s 12 Monkeys, Crave TV’s Letterkenny, CW Pilot Glamourous, supporting roles in Lifetime Movies The Sweetheart and Daughter Dearest, and most recently a recurring role in the Netflix’s series October Faction and a series regular role in USA Networks Dare Me.
As a young working professional in the industry, she continues to educate, train, and harness her skills while also exploring multiple creative outlets. Taveeta most recently released her latest single “Catching Feelings” under Gladiator Records available on all major music platforms, and artistically directs/curates/choreographs dance workshops and collaborative installations for local dance studios, and companies.
Taveeta aspires to use her role in the industry as a platform to inspire others and promote positive change.
